land of broken dreams
from my recent trip to LA
I found this cute mid-century kitchen cart at Stuff on Valencia a while back. It’s nice that my Pyrex collection finally has a home, instead of being hidden away in the cupboard.
Lately, I have been spending my time searching for mid-century treasures in the many antique shops in the city. One of my proudest discoveries has been this beautiful teak bar cart. I found it at The Other Shop on Divisadero and Page, which has become one of my favorite shops to peruse on a weekly basis. Also, on the bottom of the cart is my 1953 Scrabble game, complete with all original pieces, which was an Ebay find!
Recital day tomorrow!
